Odori che si legano indissolubilmente ad un’immagine: ricordi olfattivi o, meglio, visioni profumate!
Daisy non sapeva esattamente quando era entrata in contatto con quell’odore ma non ricordava un solo giorno della sua vita senza. Era parte di lei, la parte più intima, più misteriosa. Quella che celava dietro al suo sorriso. Erano 21 anni che conviveva con quell’odore e non sapeva dargli un nome. L’unica cosa di cui era veramente sicura era il colore. Era un profumo viola!
Improvvisamente sentì freddo. Se ne stupì… come poteva aver freddo sotto il suo morbido piumone? E in quel momento percepì i suoi denti iniziare a battere… un movimento non controllabile… il suo corpo si stava ghiacciando… cercò di afferrare il piumone, ma la sua mano si mosse nel vuoto… non c’era nessun piumone da afferrare… spalancò gli occhi, ma continuava a non vedere nulla… buio… un buio tetro, nero e freddo!
Cercò di tastare il mondo intorno a lei… mura umide, odore acre e silenzio assoluto. Si alzò in piedi, sorreggendosi a quel muro bagnato alle sue spalle… e fu lì, da quella posizione, che vide un bagliore di luce filtrare dall’alto… un bagliore che le fece apparire le volte di una cripta… poi passò… in un attimo… come un frammento in un caledoscopio: un aquilone… che portò quell’odore, quel profumo di casa… e stavolta le venne in mente il nome, quel nome che aveva cercato per tanti anni… LAVANDA!

And at that moment felt her teeth start beating … a movement can not be controlled … her body was icing … tried to grab the duvet, but her hand moved in a vacuum … there was no duvet to grasp … eyes widened, but still did not see anything … dark … a dark, bleak, black and cold!
She tried to feel the world around her … damp walls, smell and absolute silence. She stood up, leaning on the wall behind her wet … and it was there, from there, she saw a flash of light filtering from … a glow that made her appear whenever a crypt … then went … in a moment … as a fragment in a kaleidoscope: a kite … it brought the smell, the smell of home … and this time she remembered the name, that name had been trying for many years … LAVENDER!
