I did not hear about the race. My husband follows golf, American football, and Baseball.
I do hope there was little damage and that any injuries were minor.

/ febbraio 24, 2013As I was logging out I saw about the race on the news page. I was just watching a show about how they make things and it explained that some of the stock car races started in America because of the American Prohibition of alcohol – and that the races had started because of the cars that were altered to carry the extra weight of the bootlegged illegal moonshine, white lightening – home brewed alcohol so police couldn’t detect the extra weight or catch the cars that speed on their routes (sometimes during the day) but mostly at night. When the car races started there weren’t big stakes or winnings, the races were just for ‘bragging’ rights as to who had the better and faster car.
